Thailand Visa for Indian Citizens (2026)

Indian passport holders can currently travel to Thailand without applying for a visa in advance for short-term tourism visits. The Royal Thai Embassy states that the visa exemption scheme for Indian ordinary passport holders remains in effect until further notice. 

Requirements:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months 
  • Confirmed return/onward ticket 
  • Proof of sufficient funds 
  • Hotel booking or accommodation details 
  • Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival (if required by current immigration rules)
